Sunflower Seeds
Tri-State Aid for Ukraine
Raising awareness and resources for humanitarian efforts in Ukraine’s defense of democracy.
Mobilizing the Tri-State area to support Ukraine.
Sunflower Seeds Inc. is a non-profit established to provide resources for Ukrainian refugees and war victims. This Tri-State group sends proceeds directly to partners in Orange, France and to Helping Hands for Ukraine in Ridgewood, NJ. Medical, food, and hygiene items needed for humanitarian aid are then delivered to refugees located in Poland near the Ukraine border and directly to hospitals and medics in the field, respectively. We also collect unused medical supplies from area medical facilities and deliver them to Cleveland Maidan. Our Cleveland partner then ships the supplies to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Ministry of Health.

What Sunflower Seeds is doing….
The Orange Connection
Sunflower Seeds sends proceeds to our partners in Orange, France. They in turn truck supplies to Jaroslaw, Poland where Ukrainian refugees are sheltered.
The New Jersey Bypass
Sunflower Seeds helps fund the efforts of Helping Hands for Ukraine (HH4U). This group has procured and delivered over 100 shipments of medical supplies. Because it is run by a Ukrainian couple with in-country contacts, supplies support seven Medic units and two hospitals.
The Athens Express
Sunflower Seeds collects unused medical supplies and equipment from Tri-State medical facilities and delivers them to Ukraine in partnership with Little Wing Relief Works of Athens OH.
Coordinating with MUkraine
MUkraine is a video podcast about the war in Ukraine produced every Friday at 2:00 by Marshall University professors.
